My friend Tamara Wytsma (www.wigglewormphotography.com) shared one of her favorite spots in Central Oregon - a prairie bursting with wildflowers. Erin Lytle, Marianne Bach, Tamara and her youngest daughter Ashlynn we sweet enough to pose for some fun shots playing in the flowers.
We then checked out the Painted Hills which are named after the colorful layers of its hills corresponding to various geological eras, formed when the area was an ancient river floodplain. (thanks wikepedia) They're part of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument.
